Savannah Perceptual Map

Savannah like all cities is comprised of many different
parts synthesized by human perception into one fluid experience. This project
aims to construct this perceptual experience blending node, landmark, path, and
place into a single expression of a city. These parts of the city are anchored
by a river, the base point for a gridded city unlike most. The 18th century
military system now serves for green space and mixed-use wards. These unique
characteristics give Savannah a pedestrian experience unlike any other one that
is timeless.
